Different times, same stuff.
My family and I went to visit my mum's parents. After about 4years or so.
My grandfather is a mechanic/engineer that has worked with milling metal. Mostly designing spare parts for heavy machinery.
We drinked together and talked about what I do. He explained to me that each machine (all mechanical with >40years of experience on each) is programable via gear ratios (with some math he could do anything that was a solid revolution). I told him that I make 3D printed designs spare parts and tools. And with knowing some dimentions I could replicate a spare or make something new.
We might have been born in different centuries, but we do share the love of creating and fixing.
