Recovery

On <2025-04-22 Tue> I recovered the samples that I burried on <2025-01-21 Tue> (go see 021-2025 First Entry).

Turns out that PLA is mostly only biodegradable via industrial composting conditions ¹ and there's little evidence of abiotic degradation on every-day conditions ².

Weight and concern on results

Here are my results of weight, this time with 2 digits of significance (got access to a more prescise scale)

My previous results were not great, due to the single decimal scale I had at home. For later measurements I will use the same scale.

What to spect for the future

I will re-bury the test pieces, but have to take in concideration that the following 150 days will have low temperatures. Which could affect the degrading.

NEVER DONE :: Going back to the ground

Today <2025-06-15 Sun> I've decided to officialy drop this project. Mostly because personal interest.
